Kaldvik reports quarterly loss, investors reward operational progress
Kaldvik recorded an operating EBIT of −€3.3m in the second quarter on revenues of about €11.3m and a harvest volume of 1,840 tonnes. Despite the losses, the share of fish in the quality grade “Superior” rose to 68.2% and the cumulative mortality of the 2025 cohort fell to 15.7%, which management cites as evidence of operational improvements. The company confirmed its annual harvest estimate of around 17,000 tonnes, is adjusting its production model to reduce disease risks, and secured fixed‑price contracts for 35–37% of the remaining production.
