Kapsch TrafficCom has signed an agreement to sell a majority of its shares in its German subsidiary tolltickets GmbH. The closing is subject to suspensive conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to be completed by year-end. Kapsch TrafficCom has delivered an integrated system to introduce a low-emission zone in Castellón de la Plana, including 45 automatic number plate recognition cameras, six car park cameras, 24 environmental and noise sensors and central control software. The €1.52 million project started at the end of 2022 and is fully integrated into the city's traffic management and the Kapsch EcoTrafiX system.
