Kibo Energy delisted from AIM after failed reverse takeover
Kibo Energy said its shares will be delisted from AIM with effect from Sunday at 07:00 after the conditions for a reverse takeover transaction announced on 1 July 2026 were not met. Trading had already been suspended since 14 April 2025; the company was unable to complete the RTO within the timeframe set by the exchange, leading to the termination of the listing. After the delisting there will be no public market for the ordinary shares on AIM, although shareholders will retain their ownership. Kibo Energy is in talks about a secondary listing on the JSE and is considering alternative transactions and a possible IPO, but stresses that these negotiations are at an early stage and there is no certainty they will be completed. » More on de.investing.com
