Leslie’s switches auditor to Grant Thornton after Ernst & Young criticism of internal controls

Leslie’s audit committee appointed Grant Thornton as the new independent auditor for the fiscal year ending Oct. 3, 2026, and dismissed Ernst & Young. EY did not identify any scope limitations in the financial statement audits, but issued adverse opinions on internal control over financial reporting due to material weaknesses relating to inventories, impairments and supplier discounts.
