MicroVision is presenting its modular MicroVision Perception Platform at IAA Transport 2026 and is showing the short-range lidar configuration MOVIA S, the long-range lidar HALO, and a preview of FMCW sensors for very long ranges. A commercial-vehicle solution combines MOVIA S and HALO for object detection, blind-spot monitoring, free-space detection and low-speed maneuvering. MicroVision Semiconductor was commissioned by a government supplier to develop a custom semiconductor solution based on "Liquid Crystal on Silicon" for a spatial light modulator. The unit provides the design of analog and mixed-signal ICs, combining its semiconductor expertise with the customer's polarization technology and photonics.
