Mincon increases half-year revenue by 19%: construction sector drives growth

The Irish rock-drilling tool maker Mincon reports H1 revenue of €87.8m, up 19% year on year, and a net profit of €6.8m after €0.7m in the prior year. The main growth driver was the construction business, with revenue rising 23%, notably in North America due to a large project; mining recorded revenue growth of 18%. EBITDA was €13.8m, gross profit €26.8m and operating profit €9.3m.
