Locked-cycle tests on Selkirk drill cores showed that separate copper and nickel concentrates can be produced. Copper recovery in the copper concentrate increased from 70.0% to 81.3% and copper losses in the tailings fell from 26.2% to 11.4%. The nickel concentrate raised its nickel grade from 6.8% to 10.9% with a nickel recovery of 54.4%. Tests were conducted by Blue Coast Research on about 700 kg of diamond drill core; gold, silver and cobalt could be payable as additional credits.
