Supply stoppages weigh on Olympus: 2026 sales forecast cut 2% on a constant-currency basis
For Q3 of fiscal 2026 Olympus reported sales of 2,610 Oku Yen (+4% on a constant-currency basis) and adjusted operating profit of 393 Oku Yen (margin 15.1%). Due to supply stoppages of about 90 Oku Yen caused by FDA inspections, the company lowered its sales forecast excluding currency effects by 2% but kept its operating margin targets unchanged (now 12.7–13.9%).
