OVS submits binding takeover offer for Kasanova
OVS has presented a binding offer to acquire household goods retailer Kasanova in full. The acquisition is expected to cost OVS around €15 million; creditors are to write off claims of about €40 million, effectively reducing Kasanova’s debt to nearly zero. Kasanova reported sales of roughly €370 million in 2022; OVS expects just under €300 million in sales and a slightly positive EBITDA for 2025. Closing is planned by the end of 2025 and depends on creditor approval, a successful negotiation process and the write-down of share capital. Analysts note the transaction offers fewer synergies compared with OVS’s earlier acquisitions. » More on de.investing.com
