Patriot National Bancorp: OCC lifts formal agreement, stock rises

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has lifted the formal agreement it reached last year with Patriot National Bancorp. The stock rose about 6.5% in premarket trading to $1.02. The OCC had previously classified the bank as "in troubled condition"; the lifting is likely to reduce regulatory costs.
