Photon Energy reduces loss in Q2 2026 and doubles EBITDA in turnaround

Photon Energy reports a 10.4% revenue increase to €28.3m in Q2 2026, EBITDA of €5.7m (up 103.6%) and a reduced net loss of €0.3m. Cost cuts, staff reductions (from 307 to 198 FTE) and higher day-ahead power prices contributed to the improved results. Management is shifting the business toward capex-conserving services (O&M, asset management) and expects elevated power prices through 2027. Photon Energy misses 2025 EBITDA guidance after weak final quarter

Photon Energy reports a 2025 annual EBITDA of €5.1m, well below the guidance of €9m. In Q4 revenue fell 29.7% to €18m and quarterly EBITDA was -€3.4m. Results were impacted by a €3.2m provision related to a dispute with the Polish transmission system operator and by regulatory pressures in Romania and Hungary; full-year revenue of €100m was in line with guidance.
