Photon Energy reduces loss in Q2 2026 and doubles EBITDA in turnaround

Photon Energy reports a 10.4% revenue increase to €28.3m in Q2 2026, EBITDA of €5.7m (up 103.6%) and a reduced net loss of €0.3m. Cost cuts, staff reductions (from 307 to 198 FTE) and higher day-ahead power prices contributed to the improved results. Photon Energy reports a 2025 annual EBITDA of €5.1m, well below the guidance of €9m. In Q4 revenue fell 29.7% to €18m and quarterly EBITDA was -€3.4m.
