PPHE Hotel Group reported a like‑for‑like revenue increase of 4.7% to £208m for H1 2026 and like‑for‑like EBITDA of £49m (+8%) with a margin of 23.5%. Growth was driven by hotels in the UK; the Netherlands weighed on results following a VAT increase. The shares fell around 4.4%; management expects the second half to be in line with consensus for the full year. » More on de.investing.com
PPHE Hotel Group plunges nearly 10% after failed takeover
PPHE Hotel Group’s shares fell about 10% to 1,540p after a sales process that had lasted more than seven months ended without an agreement. A non-binding offer from Fattal Hotel Group of £22 per share failed because major shareholder Euro Plaza Holdings rejected it, and Fattal subsequently withdrew. With the takeover target gone, the premium that had been priced in since November 2025 evaporated, so the stock is being revalued as a standalone company without a near-term valuation catalyst. » More on de.investing.com
