S&P cuts outlook for PTT Global Chemical to "negative"

S&P Global Ratings has downgraded the outlook for PTT Global Chemical from "stable" to "negative" but confirmed the credit rating at BBB-. The reasons are ongoing earnings pressure and structural overcapacity in petrochemicals, as well as a high leverage ratio (adjusted debt-to-EBITDA about 9x in 2025).
