Redwood AI announces an update to its AI-based chemical synthesis platform Reactosphere that monitors prices and availability from more than 90 global suppliers and can integrate internal customer prices and inventories. The expansion is intended to help procurement teams identify alternative suppliers faster, reduce supply bottlenecks and optimize decisions taking tariffs and logistics factors into account. Redwood AI and the Brent Page Lab at the University of British Columbia have launched a joint research project to develop novel therapeutics against Alzheimer’s, focused on inhibitors of the protein NUDT5. Redwood will provide an AI-powered computing platform to design and evaluate synthetically accessible drug analogs, accelerating the selection of promising candidates and proposing prioritized molecules for synthesis and experimental testing.
