Resonac Q1: revenue below forecast, shares rise after strong segment results

Resonac reported Q1 FY2026 revenue of JPY 307.9 billion, missing the JPY 329.91 billion forecast (-6.67%), while core operating profit rose to JPY 33.6 billion (2.3-fold). The semiconductor and electronic materials segment grew 21% and restructuring reduced losses in the graphite electrode business. Despite the revenue miss, the stock climbed 4.91% in after-hours trading.
