Ringkjøbing Landbobank starts share buyback programme of DKK 400m
Ringkjøbing Landbobank is launching a share buyback programme of up to DKK 400 million, running from 10 August to 9 October 2026. Up to 500,000 shares will be repurchased and cancelled at a future general meeting, with the aim of adjusting the capital structure. Ringkjøbing Landbobank posts 22% return on tangible equity in H1 2026
Ringkjøbing Landbobank reported a net profit of DKK 1.194 million for the first half of 2026 and an annualised return on tangible equity of 22%. Core profit amounted to DKK 1.595 million, core income to DKK 2.120 million; earnings per share rose 5% year‑on‑year for the half (Q2: +10%). The cost/income ratio was 26.2%, total costs increased 4% to DKK 556 million, and impairments were DKK 31 million. Loans and deposits grew at annualised rates of 13% and 12%, respectively. Ringkjøbing Landbobank buys back shares worth DKK 21.3m
Ringkjøbing Landbobank bought 12,500 of its own shares in the week of 13–17 July for a total of DKK 21,264,925, acquiring 2,500 shares daily at average prices between DKK 1,678.44 and DKK 1,714.30 via Nasdaq Copenhagen. The purchases are part of a repurchase programme (6 May–7 Aug 2026) with a volume of up to DKK 400m and a maximum of 500,000 shares.
