Rolls-Royce expands Goodwood as bespoke commissions lift average price

Rolls-Royce is nearly doubling its Goodwood factory with a £300m BMW-backed investment to meet rising demand for highly personalised cars, from feather-lined interiors to pet-portrait wood inlays. Strong customisation has pushed the average sale price to about £500,000 and can add roughly 25% to list prices, with some commissions reaching seven-figure sums.
