Savills increased revenue in the first half of 2026 by 8.7% to £1.2bn and raised adjusted profit before tax by 47% to £34.3m; adjusted earnings per share climbed 53% to 17.9p. Adjusted EBITDA rose 32% to £73.8m, and the less transaction-dependent business now accounts for 63% of group revenue. • Savills: reprimand for audit committee chair over earlier PwC audits

The Financial Reporting Council has reprimanded John Waters, a non-executive board member and chair of the audit committee at Savills, for his previous role as the responsible auditor at PwC. The reprimand concerns PwC audits of the consolidated financial statements of Babcock International for the years ended 31 March 2019 and 31 March 2020; PwC was also reprimanded. Savills emphasizes the matter is unrelated to the company, and the board continues to consider Waters suitable in his role. » More on de.investing.com

Savills recorded revenue growth of 6% in the second half of 2025 (currency-adjusted 8%) as well as double-digit growth in EBITDA and profit before tax; margins improved by 30 basis points. Despite the strong numbers, the stock fell intraday by around 7.6% to 926 as investors voiced concerns about market risks and restructuring costs.
