SEED Innovations invested $350,000 via an uncapped, undiscounted SAFE with a most-favoured-nation clause in Cosmic Robotics. Cosmic, a participant in the Y Combinator summer 2026 program, develops AI-powered autonomous systems for installing large-scale solar arrays (platform Cosmic-1A) and is already deploying them on US construction sites. The funds will be used for product development, commercial launch and operational scaling; for the year to 31 December 2025 Cosmic reported a loss of $1.8 million and net assets of $1.5 million. SEED Innovations invests £300,000 in agri-robotics start-up Fieldwork
SEED Innovations has invested £300,000 in Fieldwork Robotics, acquiring around 3.66% as part of a £2.5 million funding round. The funds are intended to accelerate the move from technology validation to commercial field trials and the rollout of autonomous harvesting systems for soft fruit, primarily raspberries. Fieldwork is developing AI-driven 3D image recognition and a four-armed robotic harvester system with a patented inflatable membrane, and is pursuing sales, data-driven agricultural services and a harvesting-as-a-service model. Seed Innovations invests £260,000 in Clean Food Group convertible loan
Seed Innovations has invested £260,000 in a £4.5m funding round for Clean Food Group. The financing is structured as a convertible loan with a 12% annual coupon and maturity in August 2027; it can be converted at a 20% discount to a future equity price or, if not converted earlier, at 16.5 pence per share. Seed is funding the investment from existing cash and already holds 7,161,336 ordinary shares (around 4.5% on a fully diluted basis); its total exposure to Clean Food Group rises to about £1.98m versus invested costs of £647,000.
