Sempra has completed the sale of Ecogas México, a natural gas distribution network serving over 600,000 customers in Mexicali, Chihuahua and La Laguna‑Durango, and received about $500 million. The transaction is part of Sempra’s capital recycling program to support a five‑year investment plan of roughly $65 billion, with more than 95% earmarked for regulated utility infrastructure. Sempra Infrastructure said commissioning of the ECA LNG Phase‑1 plant in Ensenada is delayed after damage to refrigerant compressors was discovered during scheduled inspections.
