  • Skanska raises construction-sector margin to 5.6% and proposes nearly doubled dividend

Skanska reports Q4 2025 revenue of SEK 43.9 billion and an operating construction-sector margin of 5.6%, well above the prior year and the company's target. Group operating income rose to SEK 2,981 million and profit for the period to SEK 2,469 million; earnings per share climbed to SEK 5.94. The board proposes a dividend of SEK 14 per share (SEK 8.50 regular plus SEK 5.50 special dividend), almost twice last year’s level. • Skanska raises margin target in construction to ≄4.0%

Skanska has raised its long-term operating margin target for its construction division from ≄3.5% to ≄4.0% and at the same time confirmed all other financial targets, including an property development return of ≄10% ROCE. Market consensus for 2025–26 is around 3.9%; the new target could boost earnings per share by roughly 2–3%. Jefferies views the increase as a positive signal given strong order books, but the stock fell about 2% because shareholder-return targets remained unchanged; comments from management at the capital markets day are awaited. » More on de.investing.com

  • Skanska exceeds expectations in residential construction and reports solid second quarter

Skanska surpassed expectations in the second quarter with strong performance in residential construction and robust order intake. The operating margin in the construction segment was 3.9%, above analyst consensus, and the outlook for residential construction in Europe as well as Swedish civil engineering was raised.
