Stellantis has signed a letter of intent with Canadian armored vehicle manufacturer Roshel for the possible sale of its idled assembly plant near Toronto (Brampton). The company sees Roshel as a promising option to resume sustainable operations at the plant. At the same time, collective bargaining talks with the union Unifor are stalled; the current contract expires on September 20 and negotiations have been suspended for now.
