Sun Life reported adjusted EPS of CAD 2.02 for Q2 2026 (consensus CAD 1.93) and an adjusted net profit of CAD 1.12bn. Sun Life has appointed Katherine Lee to its board of directors with immediate effect. Lee brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services, investment and real estate, including senior roles at GE Capital in North America and Asia as well as CEO positions at GE Capital Canada and GE Capital Real Estate Canada. Sun Life has completed the acquisition of Bell Partners for $350 million, with around 80% of the purchase price paid in common shares. Bell Partners will remain under its own management as part of BGO, the real estate investment‑management arm of Sun Life, and manages about 65,000 residential units across 12 U.S. markets.
