Swedencare disappoints with Q2 figures, shares fall sharply

Swedencare missed consensus estimates in the second quarter of 2026: net revenue SEK 670m (-4% versus consensus) and operating EBITDA SEK 129m (-5% versus forecasts). The stock slid intraday by around 15.7% to SEK 21.8 and reached a 52-week low of SEK 21.35. Swedencare confirms financial targets at capital markets day and stock rises

At the capital markets day Swedencare reiterated targets of double‑digit organic growth and a mid‑term operating EBITDA margin above 26%, as well as a leverage target of below two times. Management cited drivers such as online sales, direct sales, retail and a strategic focus on the higher‑margin CDMO business, although its impact on the product mix remains uncertain. SwedenCare meets sales forecast, higher costs weigh on margins

SwedenCare reports Q1 net sales of SEK 650m (+1% y/y, +11% organically), broadly in line with analyst expectations. Operating EBITDA rose to SEK 128m (+3% y/y) with a margin of 19.6%, but the result was 3% below consensus, weighed down by higher external costs (including Amazon-related expenses and trade show participation). Operating EBIT remained at SEK 103m, in line with the prior year, and the EBIT margin fell slightly to 15.8%. Growth came mainly from Europe and the production segment, while North America showed weaker volumes; dental and pharma posted strong gains, nutraceuticals declined.
