TC Energy waives redemption of series‑5 and series‑6 preferred shares and offers exchange options
TC Energy will not exercise its call right for the cumulative, redeemable Series 5 and Series 6 preferred shares on January 30, 2026. Instead, holders are given choices: Series‑5 shareholders can opt for a fixed dividend yield of 4.501% until January 30, 2031 or exchange one‑for‑one into Series‑6 shares with a variable quarterly dividend; Series‑6 holders can keep the variable yield of 3.732% or switch into Series‑5.
