Temenos implements core banking at HBL in Pakistan

Temenos has launched its cloud-native core banking system at Habib Bank Limited (HBL); the first phase migrates customer accounts from 200 branches. After full rollout, the platform is expected to cover more than 40 million accounts and around 20 million transactions per day. Temenos named overall winner of IDC FinTech Real Results 2025

Temenos was named overall winner of IDC’s FinTech Real Results 2025 and also won in the “Bank Deposit Transformation” category. The award recognized the project to modernize the mobile channels of Italian bank Credito Emiliano, implemented with Temenos Digital as SaaS. Credem brought the first new mobile app to market in nine months, shortened subsequent releases to four months, reports around 30% annual growth in app usage and currently has over 550,000 active mobile users.
