Shareholders of European Smaller Companies Trust approve merger with European Assets Trust

Shareholders of the European Smaller Companies Trust voted at the general meeting by a large majority in favour of the planned consolidation of assets with the European Assets Trust. At the same time, the issuance of ordinary shares up to a nominal value of £3,125,000, the increase of the annual maximum directors’ fee from £250,000 to £500,000, and the cancellation of the capital reserve were approved; the resolutions received approval rates between 94% and 98.72%.
