Tokmanni share falls after disappointing Q2 figures and impairments at Dollarstore

Tokmanni reported Q2 2026 revenue of €457.7m, missing consensus estimates; adjusted EBIT fell slightly to €21m. The result was hit by a €24m goodwill impairment and a €12m inventory write-down in the Dollarstore segment, as well as significant non-cash impairments. Like-for-like sales growth was only 0.3%; analysts had already cut price targets, and the share dropped sharply, trading close to its 52-week low. Tokmanni reported third-quarter sales growth of 4.0% to €432.8m, while comparable EBIT fell from €29.5m to €26.4m. Profitability suffered despite record results in the Tokmanni segment because of problems in the Swedish Dollarstore and heavy summer discounting that compressed gross margin. Interest-bearing liabilities rose to €945.5m and the net debt/EBITDA ratio to 3.60, leading the board to forgo a second dividend payment.
