Turk Hava Yollari reports strong revenue growth, EBITDA falls sharply
Turk Hava Yollari recorded revenue growth of more than 20% to $7.2 billion in Q2 2026, while EBITDA fell about 40% to $906 million due to higher fuel costs, currency headwinds and impacts from the Middle East conflict. Net profit was around $200 million, supported by investment income, and liquidity stood at $9.6 billion. The cargo business grew strongly (revenue +58%). Turk Hava Yollari AO share falls after disappointing quarterly result
The share of Turk Hava Yollari AO dropped about 3.5% to 312.5 TRY after the company reported an operating net loss of USD 174 million for Q2/2026 (expectation: -101 million). Revenue slightly beat forecasts at USD 7,205 million, but EBITDA of USD 699 million missed the consensus (799 million). Turk Hava Yollari: new leadership and no dividend for 2025
Turk Hava Yollari has replaced its CEO and board chairman and filled several senior roles: Ahmet Olmustur is the new CEO, Murat Seker the new chairman of the board, Metin Gulsen the new CFO and Harun Basturk the new CCO. The company announced it will not pay a dividend from the 2025 net profit of 118.2 billion lira and will retain earnings to strengthen liquidity.
