Velan increases margin despite revenue decline and focuses on nuclear business

In Q3 FY2026 Velan reported a 2.4% decline in revenue to USD 71.7m, but improved its gross margin to 37.9% (+70 basis points) and generated an adjusted EBITDA of USD 9.5m. The order backlog rose to USD 296.8m, including a CAD 20m order from Ontario Power Generation, strengthening its position in the nuclear sector. The company reports USD 36.3m in cash and roughly USD 86m in available funds, but recorded a temporary cash outflow from operating activities. Velan Q2 2025: Revenue falls, nuclear division provides optimism

Velan reports a 13% revenue decline in Q2 2025 to USD 67.6 million and a net loss of USD 1.7 million (USD 0.08 per share). The company received a USD 15 million order for reactor cooling valves, and backlog increased to USD 285.8 million.
