Vietnam Enterprise Investments sees 16–18% profit growth for 2026
FTSE 250-listed investment company Vietnam Enterprise Investments (VEIL) expects 16–18% profit growth for 2026 and points to a stable macroeconomic environment with inflation below 4% and a steady USD/VND rate. VEIL cites strong corporate profits in Q4 2025 (net +45% year-on-year) and reports a 27% rise in net profit for 2025 on a 15% increase in revenue. The portfolio strategy focuses on banks, leading domestic consumption companies and beneficiaries of the infrastructure cycle; top positions are Vingroup, Vinhomes and Mobile World. Notable risks include delays in public investment, external export shocks and margin pressure. The company’s NAV rose 24.5% in 2025, lagging the Vietnam index (+38.8%). » More on de.investing.com

Vietnam Enterprise Investments records NAV recovery of 27.7% after half-year decline
Vietnam Enterprise Investments reported a decline in NAV per share in pounds of 7.7% for the first half of 2025 (in USD -2.3%), but saw a strong recovery of 27.7% from 30 June to 31 August and outperformed the benchmark by around 4%. The first-half underperformance was attributed to capital outflows following Trump’s original tariff plan and an underweight versus Vingroup; the domestically oriented portfolio benefited from the subsequent agreement on a lower tariff level. Vietnam grew 7.7% in H1 2025; the fund holds core positions in banks, real estate and consumer names. VEIL shares trade at a discount of about 17% to NAV, the board has been conducting active buybacks (around 8% in 2024, ~10% in 2025), and an expected FTSE classification as an Emerging Market could increase foreign inflows. » More on de.investing.com
