Vir Biotechnology: CFO departure sends shares sharply lower
Vir Biotechnology confirmed the resignation of CFO Jason O’Byrne; Brent Sabatini was named interim chief financial officer. O’Byrne’s exit was not due to disagreements with the company, which has already begun the search for a successor. Investors were unsettled ahead of the quarterly report on July 30, and the stock fell intraday by about 7% to $8.68. The departure follows the resignation of the chief medical officer in April and heightens concerns about leadership continuity, capital allocation and clinical priorities. » More on de.investing.com
