WAFD renames subsidiary Washington Federal to WaFd Bank

WAFD has officially renamed its wholly owned subsidiary Washington Federal to WaFd Bank and filed corresponding amendments to its articles of incorporation with the Washington Secretary of State. Common and preferred shares will continue to trade on NASDAQ under the tickers WAFD and WAFDP; the headquarters remains in Seattle.
