  • Webuild offers €4.50 per share and drives Trevi Finanziaria stock higher

Webuild has announced a voluntary cash offer for 100% of Trevi Finanziaria’s ordinary shares at €4.50 per share, representing a 29.8% premium to the closing price on June 26 and valuing the company at around €295m. The cash offer, which includes a minimum acceptance threshold of 66.7%, competes with rival ICoP’s share-swap proposal that requires a 90% threshold and contemplates non-listed shares as consideration. Investors are speculating about a bidding contest, causing Trevi’s stock to trade at times above the offer price; major shareholders such as Cdp Eigenkapital and Polaris must now choose between the offers. » More on de.investing.com
