WeRide announced a partnership with Danish electric mobility provider GreenMobility and plans to launch a public robotaxi service in Denmark in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approval. The expansion into Denmark is WeRide’s sixth European market; the company previously expanded into Spain and Slovakia and is running test and pilot programmes in France, Belgium and Switzerland. WeRide and Uber plan to introduce commercial robotaxi services in the Greater Zurich Region in 2026, subject to approval from Switzerland's Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Customers will book rides through the Uber app while local operator Rydera will manage daily fleet operations under WeRide's asset-light model.
