Xtract Resources makes progress on antimony processing in Morocco
Xtract Resources reports from metallurgical testwork phase 2 for the Amghas antimony mine that flotation can produce an antimony concentrate with over 55% Sb. Alkaline leaching with sodium sulfide removed more than 99% of the lead and converted it into a separate product, which should avoid penalties on the concentrate. Tests showed similar results at grind sizes of 160 and 100 microns, which could reduce grinding intensity and operating costs. Xtract plans a gravity processing plant for early cash flow, further pilot tests in Rabat, and submission of a conceptual flowsheet to an engineering firm. » More on de.investing.com
Xtract Resources starts production at Silverking copper-silver project in Zambia
Xtract Resources has started production at the Silverking project in the Mumbwa district (Zambia); the joint venture is operated by Oval Mining with Cooperlemon Consultancy. The modernized flotation plant targets a throughput rate of 28 tonnes per hour and concentrates copper grades currently between 20–35% (target ~28%); run-of-mine ore grades are 0.80–1.1% copper and 11–68 g silver per tonne. Drilling (a total of 895 core samples) shows a bornite-rich vertical plug to at least 140 m and a chalcopyrite-rich halo to ~170 m, with mineralization remaining open at depth; one interval returned 4 m at 7.67% Cu and 63.5 g/t Ag from 228 m. The company is assessing construction of a ramp to access deeper zones, is ramping up production gradually, and warns of operational risks in the early stage — stable production is only expected after optimization. » More on de.investing.com

Flotation tests produced concentrates grading 65% antimony; the company targets first concentrate production and sales in Q4 2026. » More on de.investing.com
