Das Segment Airlaid Materials liefert saugfähige Vliesstoffe auf Zellulosebasis, die zur Herstellung von Konsumgütern wie Damenhygiene- und anderen Hygieneprodukten, Spezialtüchern, Tischdecken, Inkontinenzprodukten für Erwachsene, Haushaltspflegeprodukten und anderen Konsum- und Industrieprodukten verwendet werden. Das Segment Spunlace stellt Spunlace-Vliesstoffe für die Bereiche Reinigung, Hochleistungsmaterialien, Körperpflege, Hygiene und medizinische Anwendungen her. Das Unternehmen war früher unter dem Namen P. H. Glatfelter Company bekannt. Die Glatfelter Corporation wurde 1864 gegründet und hat ihren Hauptsitz in Charlotte, North Carolina.
