Genprex facing delisting from NASDAQ after prolonged share price below $1
Genprex received notice from NASDAQ that its shares closed below $1.00 for 30 consecutive trading days, violating listing rule 5550(a)(2). Because the company completed a reverse stock split on October 21, 2025, it is not eligible for the usual cure period to regain compliance; NASDAQ therefore announced a delisting unless a hearing is requested. Genprex plans to request a hearing, is evaluating options to regain compliance — including another reverse split — and warns that failure could jeopardize its listing, share price and access to capital markets. Despite recent research data and a partnership with the MD Anderson Cancer Center, market capitalization is small ($6.88 million) and InvestingPro rates the financial position as weak. » More on de.investing.com
Patent approvals in Japan and Europe drive Genprex stock
Genprex received patents in Japan and Europe for its REQORSA gene therapy in combination with immunotherapies (PD-L1/PD-1), which pushed the share price up by around 27%. The patents protect combinations that also pertain to the ongoing Acclaim-3 study for small-cell lung cancer with Tecentriq. Genprex expects an interim analysis after the first 25 patients are recruited in the first half of 2026; the study has Fast Track and orphan-drug status from the FDA. » More on de.investing.com
Genprex secures $2.7 million through registered direct placement
Genprex completed a registered direct placement raising about $2.7 million; additional proceeds of up to $5.4 million could be realized if accompanying warrants are fully exercised. The company sold 243,622 common shares at $11.21 per share and, in a private placement, issued short-term warrants to purchase up to 487,244 shares at an exercise price of $11.00. H.C. Wainwright & Co. served as exclusive placement agent; Genprex intends to use the net proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes. The fundraising takes place against a market capitalization of $9.4 million, short-term liquidity constraints (current ratio 0.84) and negative profitability (EBITDA -$17.31 million); the company is advancing clinical development of the Reqorsa gene therapy and has patent protection through 2037. » More on de.investing.com
