Iberdrola increases stake in Neoenergia to around 98 percent
Iberdrola bought a further 172.5 million shares of Neoenergia for 5.83 billion Brazilian reais (≈980 million euros) and thereby controls around 98 percent of the capital. An extraordinary general meeting is to decide on the compulsory buyout (squeeze-out) of the remaining minority shareholders. Iberdrola announces €13.7 billion investment in Scottish power grid
Iberdrola, through its subsidiary ScottishPower Energy Networks, will invest more than €13.7 billion over the next five years in modernizing Scotland’s electricity distribution network. The programme aims to expand and renew infrastructure in central and southern Scotland and is regarded as one of the largest infrastructure investments in the Scottish energy sector. Iberdrola beats Q4 expectations and raises annual dividend
Iberdrola reports a 12% higher net profit for Q4 of €6,285 million and an adjusted EBITDA of €15,684 million (+3%). Renewable capacity increased by 2.7 GW, and operating cash flow rose 8.2% to €12,811 million. The company proposes a 6.3% dividend increase and confirms an optimistic outlook with expected EPS of $1.10 (2025) and $1.17 (2026).
