Sutro Biopharma reports from the STRIVE-01 phase 1 study that STRO-004 produced confirmed and unconfirmed partial responses in three tumor types (pancreas, head and neck, NSCLC) at doses of 3–4 mg/kg. The 49-patient study had a 6% discontinuation rate due to adverse events; common treatment-related events were nausea (33%), fatigue (29%) and anemia (18%), with grade 3 anemia in 14% and dose-limiting toxicities at 5 mg/kg. STRO-004 showed a half-life of nearly seven days; the dose is currently being optimized between 4 and 5 mg/kg, with expansion cohorts and an update planned for H1 2027.
