Lufthansa brings in Ramelow, Koch and Heckelmann as arbitrators in pilots' pay dispute

Lufthansa and the pilots' union Vereinigung Cockpit appointed Bodo Ramelow, Roland Koch and Günther Heckelmann for the three separate arbitration proceedings. The agreed procedure combines arbitration and mediation; formally it concerns pensions and pay, but in practice also the relocation of crews to low-wage pay scales. Lufthansa: Vereinigung Cockpit nominates Bodo Ramelow as mediator

The Vereinigung Cockpit has named Bundestag vice-president Bodo Ramelow as mediator in the pay dispute with Lufthansa.
