Eagle Capital cites structural supply tightening as multi-year bull case for Alcoa
Eagle Capital highlights Alcoa as a beneficiary of multiyear aluminum and alumina supply tightening after China imposed smelter caps, which should force new higher-cost capacity additions outside China and support higher prices. The firm owns Alcoa at a wide discount to replacement cost and expects mid-teens EPS growth over the next several years, citing strong asset positioning and disciplined capital allocation. Alcoa shares have rallied recently but still trade below replacement-cost valuation, according to Eagle. » More on finance.yahoo.com
UBS names Alcoa and Chalco as favorites in the changing aluminium market
UBS expects a supply increase from the Middle East and rising production in Indonesia to reshape aluminium availability over the next few years, creating a global deficit in 2026 but easing afterward. The bank forecasts supply growth of about 5% in 2026 and sees prices likely to settle above the cost curve, supported by the copper‑to‑aluminium ratio and normalized speculative positions. As top picks, UBS names Alcoa for its integrated production and Chalco as the largest Chinese producer; both should be well positioned if market conditions move toward balance by the end of the decade. » More on de.investing.com
