Chief Financial Officer Olaf Klinger said Symrise expects organic sales growth in the third quarter to be roughly at the level of the second quarter (Q2: +4.5%). For the full year the company is targeting organic growth between 2 and 4 percent and aims to exceed the lower end of that range. Rising freight costs due to conflicts in the Middle East remain an issue; price increases and freight surcharges have already been passed on to customers.
