  • K+S raises EBITDA forecast; DZ Bank upgrades stock to buy – analyst consensus remains neutral

K+S increases its operating EBITDA forecast for 2026 to €680–760 million after a strong second quarter in which revenue and EBITDA rose significantly. DZ Bank has upgraded its rating from hold to buy and set a price target of €16.75. The broad analyst consensus, however, remains neutral (5 buy, 4 hold, 4 sell), due to uncertainty about the mid‑term development of the potash price and temporary production problems caused by low Werra water levels. Management now sees free cash flow in the mid‑ to high‑double‑digit millions of euros and removes 2028 as the target year for the Werra‑2060 project to move to dry processing. » More on de.investing.com

  • K+S raises profit target for 2026 after strong potash demand

K+S raises its EBITDA guidance for 2026 to €680–760 million after marked revenue and earnings increases in the second quarter and persistently robust potash prices. Adjusted free cash flow is now expected in the mid-to-high double-digit million-euro range rather than merely breakeven. The company sees risks to results from possible consequences of the Iran war and from drought and low water levels, which could particularly affect the Werra plant. At the same time, K+S is advancing the Werra-2060 modernization project and expanding capacity in Canada; the takeover of Qemetica salt sites is also planned. » More on finanzen.net
