K+S acquires Qemetica's salt division for €350m and reports record quarter
K+S is buying Qemetica's salt division for €350m (up to €30m contingent on performance) with sites in Janikowo and Staßfurt; closing is planned for Q1 2027, subject to antitrust approval. In Q2 2026 revenue rose 12% to €978m and adjusted EBITDA increased by around 60% to €176m, prompting the full-year guidance to be raised to €680–760m. Analysts remain cautious despite the positive figures (consensus “Neutral”, average target €16.62), while the company is strengthening the balance sheet through bond buybacks and a convertible bond; potash prices remain the main driver of volatility. » More on de.investing.com

Barclays also starts coverage of Yara with an 'Underweight' rating and views developments in nitrogen fertilizer prices as the key factor there. » More on finanzen.net
