AN2 Therapeutics reports that a 28-day oral treatment with AN2-502998 in non-human primates naturally infected with Trypanosoma cruzi led to complete elimination of the parasites, with parasite-free status maintained four months after the end of therapy. A phase-1 study in healthy adults showed good tolerability and achieved plasma exposures that matched or exceeded the efficacious thresholds from the monkey studies. The board of AN2 Therapeutics has reset the exercise price of all stock options granted before March 19, 2026 to $3.91 per share, corresponding to the closing price on the day of the action. The change affects options held by executives and external board members; all other original terms remain unchanged. If options are exercised before the earlier of September 19, 2027, a change of control, or death/disability, the original price still applies; thereafter the reduced price will apply.
