Cricut launches compact StickerPix printers that print, laminate and (optionally) cut stickers
Cricut introduced two small StickerPix machines: the StickerPix Print plus Cut for $299, which prints via dye-sublimation, laminates and produces kiss-cut stickers, and the StickerPix Print for $169, which prints to pre-cut sticker sheets and 4x6 photos but lacks cutting. The larger model handles 4x7 sticker sheets and 4x6 photo paper and leaves kiss-cut stickers on a backing for easy peeling. Both machines include built-in lamination for water, scratch and fade resistance and are aimed at space-constrained crafters and small sellers. » More on theverge.com
Cricut puts platform growth, new hardware and AI strategy at center stage at Goldman Sachs conference
At the Goldman Sachs technology conference, Cricut announced a growth strategy focused on steady platform expansion, new hardware (including the Maker 5) and expanded AI tools to attract and retain users. The platform business, which the CFO says accounts for roughly 80% of profitability, has seen continuous quarterly growth since 2021 and is expected to continue through 2026; active user numbers rose year-over-year for the first time. The company is testing premium subscriptions, regional pricing and bundles to increase monetization, expects moderate margin pressure from AI of 1–2 percentage points, and plans further product launches and international expansion ahead of the holiday season. Cricut remains debt-free, prioritizes product and platform investments, and intends to return excess capital to shareholders through buybacks and dividends. » More on de.investing.com
