Oppenheimer upgrades Ecolab to Outperform and sets $320 price target
Oppenheimer has raised Ecolab from "Perform" to "Outperform" and issued a $320 price target. The firm cites accelerated growth in Global High-Tech, Pest Elimination, Life Sciences and Ecolab Digital segments, as well as demand from AI-related semiconductor manufacturing and data centers, as drivers. Acquisitions such as Ovivo and CoolIT bolster the electronics and liquid-cooling businesses. In the short term, Oppenheimer cut EPS forecasts for 2026/2027 due to write-downs, but it sees higher margins and organic growth over the long term. The stock trades well below its five-year average multiple, so a valuation premium is expected if growth and margins improve. » More on de.investing.com
