H&R raises half-year revenue to EUR 700.4 million and EBITDA sharply to EUR 84.4 million

H&R reports revenue of EUR 700.4 million and preliminary EBITDA of EUR 84.4 million for H1 2026 (H1 2025: EUR 40.1 million), driven mainly by the ChemPharm Refining segment. In Q2 EBITDA rose to EUR 62.5 million; the group result attributable to shareholders amounted to EUR 41.6 million for the half-year and earnings per share were EUR 1.12. Operating cash flow and free cash flow were negative in the quarter and the half-year respectively, while the equity ratio remained stable at 45.6%. H&R publishes preliminary Q1 2026 figures: revenue down, earnings improved

H&R reports a slightly lower EBITDA for Q1 2026 of EUR 21.9m (Q1/2025: 22.4m) on revenues of EUR 300.2m (Q1/2025: 345.8m). EBIT rose to EUR 9.5m, EBT to EUR 6.7m and profit attributable to shareholders to EUR 3.9m (Q1/2025: 1.9m); earnings per share recovered to EUR 0.10. Operating cash flow improved to EUR 24.9m, free cash flow to EUR 12.9m. By segment, ChemPharm Refining showed a marked improvement, while ChemPharm Sales and the plastics segment remained weaker. Impairments in refining led to significantly higher write-downs, pushing EBIT to EUR -14.4m and the group net loss to EUR -38.8m. Revenue fell 7.2% to EUR 1,242.2m, while operating cash flow rose to EUR 92.1m and free cash flow to EUR 35.4m.
