IBU‑tec continues rally – stock up over 200% in 52 weeks
The IBU‑tec share jumped sharply on Tuesday and gained about 213.6% over the past 52 weeks. The driver is the strategic focus on battery materials and recycling, including a cooperation with Hosokawa Alpine for recycling coated cathode foils. In the ProLiT research project, IBU‑tec presented an industrially scalable dry coating process that uses the company’s cathode material IBUvolt® LFP400 and is said to be more energy‑efficient and solvent‑free. Investors see significant growth potential in the business model and the focus on the recyclate market, which is expanding due to the EU battery regulation. » More on finanzen.net
IBU-tec advanced materials raises 2025 profit forecast and specifies sales target
IBU-tec advanced materials raises its EBITDA margin forecast for 2025 to 10.5–11.0% (previously 7.0–9.0%) and narrows its sales forecast to €44.5–45.0 million. The driver is the accelerated battery business, with large-volume contracts with PowerCo from 2027 expected to deliver significant revenue and earnings contributions. Part of the contract-acquisition expenses will already weigh on 2025 results; nevertheless, the management board expects an EBITDA of €2.7–3.0 million in H2 2025 versus €0.9 million in H2 2024. A medium-term sales and earnings plan is to be published in early 2026. » More on finanzen.net
IBU-tec signs JDA and long-term supply agreement with PowerCo for LFP battery material
IBU-tec and PowerCo have signed a Joint Development Agreement and an additional long-term supply contract for a European LFP cathode material. IBU-tec will receive upfront payments in the mid double-digit million-euro range depending on milestones and will expand production capacity in Bitterfeld by about fivefold; financing is secured. PowerCo secures the entire output of the new plant for at least ten years, so IBU-tec is expected to achieve annual revenues from 2028 in the mid to high double-digit million-euro range. » More on finanzen.net
