Madrigal: Rezdiffra posts strong revenue growth, pipeline expanded to ten drug candidates
Madrigal reported Q2 2026 revenue of $364 million (+71% y/y) and trailing twelve‑month revenue of about $1.3 billion; the number of active Rezdiffra patients is over 50,000. The company is building a pipeline of ten active compounds that were prepaid for less than $300 million and plans three combination studies with Resmetirom for 2027. Management views Rezdiffra as a backbone therapy with potential for indication expansions up to cirrhotic stages; patent protection runs through 2045.
